Carolyn Morgan has recently written her first book which is an historical work. Art Love Forgery is based on a Polish painter who came to live in Hearts Content working at the long gone cable station during 1979. He spent time in prison where he was recognized as a gifted artist. He subsequently became an art teacher. His work was noticed by the Newfoundland government and he was tasked with painting frescoes on the ceilings of Government House and the Colonial Building. The published work is a project of Flanker Press and can be read about on their website. The novel has been very well received and Coles, Village Mall, St. John’s has listed it as a new, hot read!
On Thursday, June 8th Carolyn will be hosting a book signing and meet-the-author event at the Kindale Library in Stephenville. She is eager to speak to any budding writers, authors and the general public to discuss her work. Books will be available for purchase for $20.00.
